After three years of strong and effective leadership of the TRAC Development Group, Professor Jackie Labbe has moved on to new endeavours.
TDG records its sincere thanks for Jackie’s work leading the TDG and TRAC agenda, her insight and support on TDG projects, and leadership of the annual TRAC conference.
For an interim period for 2026-27, there will be a collective leadership arrangement led by three co-chairs:
Professor Deborah Johnston, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Framework), London South Bank University and Vice Chancellor designate, University of Bedfordshire
Professor Karl Dayson, Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), University of Lincoln
Sarah Randall-Paley, Chief Financial Officer, Lancaster University
The co-chairs are committed to enhancing the TRAC data to provide stronger evidence of the financial position of universities and their financial sustainability at a challenging time for the sector.
This includes work on a proof of concept and small pilot for a teaching cost collection to assess how TRAC can deliver essential and informed insights into ‘how much do different subject areas cost’.
