Shortform privacy notice: TRAC helpdesk

The personal data we collect for Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC) purposes may include:

• Your name and job title
• Your contact information (i.e. email address)
• Your occupation and employment details
• Your views and opinions submitted in response to surveys and/or annual data collection
• Other information relevant to carrying out our statutory functions.

We mainly collect and process personal information in connection with performing our statutory functions under Higher Education and Research Act 2017. Therefore, we have a public task legal basis for using the information.

Our purposes for using information in relation to TRAC includes for the purpose of the annual data collection, and to answer queries received via the helpdesk. The OfS will determine the period for which we need to keep your personal data based on the reasons and purposes for which it was collected.
